История основания и развития авиакомпании

История компании начинается в далеком 1989 году. Официальная дата образования – 1 декабря 1989 года.

Возникновение Pegasus Airlines связано с объединением трех крупных холдингов – Net, Silkar и Aer Lingus, которые объединились с целью создания авиакомпании туристического типа. Название Pegasus появилось практически сразу, в честь знаменитого крылатого коня Пегаса.

Первый рейс был совершен в середине апреля 1990 года, самолетом был Boeing 737.

Позже произошел военный конфликт между Ираком и Кувейтом. Ирак на 7 месяцев оккупировал Кувейт, что отобразилось и на туристической индустрии Турецкой республики.

Туристические потоки восстановились в 1992 году, что повлияло и на рост Пегасуса, который стал эксплуатировать третий Boeing 737. Повышение спроса на услуги помогло компании взять в аренду два самолета Аэробус № А320, которые использовались в пиковое для Турции время – лето.

В 1994 году две из трех компаний-соучредителей продали свои акции турецкой финансовой организации Yapi, за счет чего перевозчик стал полностью турецким.

В сентябре 1997 года компания вошла в историю. Pegasus стал первым авиаперевозчиком из Турции, который заказал самолеты Boeing. В этом году компания заключила десятилетнее соглашение на поставку 10 самолетов.

How do you make a “Flight Search” on the mobile app?

(1) Tap the “Flight Search” box on the home screen of the Pegasus Mobile App.

(2) Tap the “From” field and select your departure point on the new screen. Then select your destination in the “To” field.

(3) Select either a “Return” or “One-way” flight.

(4) Select your travel dates.

(5) Tap the “Passengers” field to select a passenger type from Adult, Child or Infant and then click on “OK’. Specific rules for Child and Infant passengers are set out in the Pegasus Airlines General Terms  and Conditions. A maximum of 9 passengers can be selected on one ticket issue.

(6) To continue the ticketing process using BolPoints, drag the lock next to the “Use BolPoints” heading to the right to activate them. (7) Tap the “Search” box to see the flight list.

How is “Flight Selection” made on the mobile app?

When you make a search, flight departure-arrival details and prices will be displayed according to the choices you make. After you have tapped on a flight, choose a package on the new screen that opens. Tap on the arrow symbol in the Fare Total field to see the flight and cost details. Select the currency you wish to pay with in the “Currency” box. After you have made all the selections necessary for your flight, continue to the next step by clicking “Continue”.

How is “Passenger Information” entered on the mobile app?

Name, surname, date of birth, gender, nationality and Turkish ID number must all be entered at the Passenger Information stage. If you are a member of Pegasus BolBol, you can log in so that the fields are completed automatically. If you have already logged in to Pegasus BolBol before the “Passenger Information” stage, the relevant fields will automatically appear completed. If there is more than one passenger on the ticket, you can enter the next passenger’s details by clicking on “Other Passengers”.

How are “Contact Details” entered on the mobile app?

How do you add “Extra Services” on the mobile app?

When you come to the “Personalise your Flight” stage, you can choose extra services in the following order: Seat Reservation, Meals (Pegasus Cafe), Baggage and Other (Travel Insurance, Pegasus Flex). After you have made all your selections, a summary of your extra services and the cost will be shown next to fare total. If you do not require any extra services, you can continue by tapping on “Skip” in the top right hand corner.

How do you make a “Payment” on the mobile app?

Flight and passenger details are shown on the “Payment Summary” screen. Check that all the details are correct, read the “General Rules”, “Privacy Policy” and “Reissue, Cancellation and Refund Rules” then check the left box to show that you accept. After tapping on “Go To Payment”, a new screen will open showing current offers, if any. Enter the offer code into the field and tap ‘Yes, Apply” to receive your discount if applicable. Choose a payment method on the same screen and enter your card details into the relevant boxes. Tap on “Make Payment”. An anti-fraud application will check the credit card details entered.If approved, you will be directed to the Bank 3D Payment page. You will receive an SMS with a passcode.You must then enter the 3D passcode. If your transaction is approved by the bank, your ticket will be issued.

How is “Ticket Confirmation” notified on the mobile app?

When the ticketing process has been successfully completed, a the ticket confirmation page opens showing a “Payment Successful” notice.

How do you complete “Online Check-in” with the mobile app?

Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport

Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport is on the Asian side of Istanbul, that is 50 km away from Taksim, and 40 km away from Kadiköy. There are various alternatives to reach from the airport to the city center. The most convenient and affordable way of reaching to the city center is the airport shuttles called Havabus. With Havabus you can reach to Kadiköy in approximately one hour and to Taksim in 1,5 hour. You may also take public transport buses E3, E9, E10, E11 to reach to different locations in the city center.  

Ankara Esenboga Airport

The airport is 30 km outside of the city center. To get to the city center, you can take airport shuttles called Belko or Havas. Shuttles depart every 30 minutes and reach to the city center (Kizilay or Central Bus Station) around one hour.  

Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport

Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport is around 15 km away from the city center. To get to the city center, you can take the airport shuttle called Havas, public buses called Eshot or the train called Izban. On average, the journey takes 30 minutes to get to the city center.

It is easily reached by shuttle buses and public transport. Public buses can be found outside of the Terminal 1. Sharm El Sheikh International Airport:

Sharm El Sheikh International Airport is approximately 18 kilometers away from the city. It can be accessed by taxi, bus or car. Taxis are waiting near the Terminal 1. On the other hand, minibuses are alternative means of transport.

Where to Stay in Russia?

There are vast amount of options to choose from when it comes to accommodation in Russian cities. Moscow is considered to be among the liveliest places in the country. But bear in mind that accommodation can get a bit pricey in the Russian capital. Tverskaya, Khamovniki Kitay-gorod and Patriarch’s Ponds districts are in high demand. On the other hand, the city center in Krasnodar is probably the best place to stay. Tsentralnyy Okrug is within easy reach from the main highlights, whereas Prikubanskiy Okrug and Karasunskiy Okrug are good alternatives.

Since the cities of Mineralnye Vody and Grozny are pretty compact you can opt for lodging opportunities in the center.

Passengers who have purchased tickets can click the “My Ticket Transactions” button on the homepage of our website and enter their reservation number (PNR) and surname to access their flight and purchase additional services.

You can purchase your tickets from the Ticket Sales tab on the left-hand side of the www.flypgs.com homepage, or you can use your mobile/tablet and our iOS or Android apps and a Visa/Mastercard credit card. You can also call our call center on 0090 850 250 67 77  to purchase your ticket.

Tick the “Change Currency Box” to the right of the “Checkout Basket”, select the desired currency, and complete your ticket purchase.

Customers who purchased their ticket from flypgs.com or mobile channels can easily access their flight details and make changes on the website by entering their reservation number (PNR) and surname in the “My Ticket Transactions” section on the homepage of the website. Customers who purchased their tickets from the call centre or an agent need to contact our call centre on 0090 850 250 67 77 in order to make any changes. For rules on changing your ticket, we recommend you read the section entitled “Reservation Changes and Ticket Cancellation” in the section.

Customers who purchased their ticket from flypgs.com can access their flight details on the website by entering their reservation number (PNR) and surname in the “My Ticket Transactions” section on the homepage and cancel some or all of their flights. For details about cancellation rules, we recommend you read the section.

Passengers who have purchased tickets can also enter their reservation number (PNR) and surname in the “My Flight Services” section under the “My Flight Services” on the flypgs.com home page to select the desired additional services.

If you wish, you can view your tickets by entering your reservation number (PNR) and surname in the Manage My Booking area of the flypgs.com homepage and print out a copy.

It is not possible to change the name on tickets which have been reserved or purchased.

Customers who purchased their ticket from flypgs.com or mobile channels can easily access their flight details and make changes to the contact details entered when purchasing a ticket by entering their reservation number (PNR) and surname in the “My Ticket Transactions” section on the homepage of the website.

If your flight has been cancelled or the scheduled flight time has been changed, you can call our call centre on 0850 250 67 77 for ticket transaction support. Only assistance to do with cancelled flights and changed departure times can be provided on this number.

If your flight is cancelled due to adverse weather, you can book another Pegasus Airlines flight on the same route free of charge as long as you do so within 3 days of the cancelled flight. Your new flight must take place no more than 14 days after the cancelled flight. For any requests made outside of the specified restrictions, the only option available will be a deduction-free ticket refund.

Refunds for cancelled flights, and for Pegasus Airlines flights that connect to or from the cancelled flight on the same day, are refunded in full with no deductions and can be requested up until the expiry date of the ticket. For refunds of flights connecting to the cancelled flight, the passenger must not have taken the flight concerned. Normal fare rules apply to other flights on the same ticket.

Passengers can make a ticket they have purchased an open ticket as long as the first flight has not taken place. An open ticket must be used within 1 year of being changed. Only the penalty fees for the relevant class will be applied for this transaction. If there is a price difference between dates, only this will be paid, and no penalty charge will be applied. You can change your ticket to an open ticket by contacting our Call Centre on 0090 850 250 67 77 or via the My Ticket Transactions section of our website.

The applicable class penalty rules will be applied when a passenger changes their ticket to an open ticket.

Open tickets cannot be transferred and the name on the ticket cannot be changed.

Компания Пегасус работает в эконом сегменте, поэтому на ее рейсы нельзя приобрести билеты классов бизнес или первого. Питание на борту лайнера предоставляется только за дополнительную плату. В виде компенсации авиаперевозчик предоставляет при резервировании билета возможность отдельно заказать еду. Для детей имеется отдельное меню.

Перевозчик имеет полное юридическое право отказать в перевозке пассажиру, если он отказывается оплачивать стоимость перевозки багажа, которая указана в тарифах компании.

Размер ручного багажа составляет 0,2х0,4х0,55 метров. Ручная кладь – багаж, которую пассажир берет с собой на борт самолета.

Основной багаж не должен превышать 20 кг для международных перелетов и 18 кг для внутренних перелетов (транзитный вариант).

Авиакомпания Pegasus Airlines имеет полное право не проводить перевозку пассажира, а также его груза в случаях, когда пассажир отказался выплатить полную стоимость транспортировки багажа, указанную в тарифах авиакомпании. Ручной багаж – это места, перевозимые в салоне, которые не должны превышать размеры 20 см х 40 см х 55 см и весить более 8 кг.

Регистрируемый багаж на внутренних рейсах должен соответствовать характеристикам:

• вес 15-20 кг, в зависимости от класса;
• на международных перелётах масса багажа составляет 20 кг.
